The Trouble with Marlene PDF ebook download Billie Livingston is a fiction writer, poet, and sometime essayist.Born in Hamilton, Ontario, she grew up in Toronto and Vancouver, and has since lived in Tokyo, Hamburg, Munich, Los Angeles and London, England. Her first employment was filling the dairy coolers in a Macs MIlk.She went on to work varying lengths of time as a file clerk, receptionist, cocktail waitress, model, actor, chocolate sampler, and booth host at a plumber’s convention.She lives with her husband in Vancouver.

Livingston has been shortlisted for the Journey Prize for fiction and the Pat Lowther Award for best book of poetry by a Canadian woman. Her recent story collection, Greedy Little Eyes, was cited by The Globe and Mail as one of 2010's best books and subsequently won the CBC's Bookie Award as well as the Danuta Gleed Literary Award for Best Short Story Collection.Her YA novella,The Trouble with Marlene has been optioned for a feature film by Director, Ana Valine of Rodeo Queen Pictures.

A recipient of the MacDowell Fellowship, Livingston has also been awarded fellowships from The Seaside Institute’s Escape to Create Program, The Ucross Foundation, Ledig House/Art Omi and The Banff Centre for the Arts. She has conducted presentations and creative writing workshops for The Vancouver School Board, The Burnaby School Board, University of British Columbia Creative Writing Department, The Women’s Correctional Centre, The Writers Union of Canada, the Yukon Writer’s Festival, Surrey International Writer’s Conference and The Victoria School of Writing,
